Keep Metabolism Guessing
One of the biggest things most weight loss plans forget about is some basic physiology - our metabolism REACTS AND ADAPTS!
This means when we eat less and exercise more (as most plans tell you), our metabolism detects this change, it reacts to it, and it adapts. Once our metabolism has adapted, this method no longer works.
We hit plateaus, we get discouraged, we fall off plan as the weight falls back on. If we continue, we end up having to eat even less, and exercise even more.. and this just isn't sustainable for most people long term.
